The team cap for The Oxford IV 2017 currently stands at 140 teams. Teams that register after we reach capacity will be added to the waiting-list. In the event that other teams are no longer able to attend, we will contact you informing you that spots have opened up.

The cost of the international package is £100 per team, and payment is due by 3pm BST on the 12th of September. Payment details can be found here.
The convenors may provide, for debaters that require assistance in securing a visa, an invitation letter to confirm your successful registration for The Oxford IV 2017. Those that require such a letter should fill in a form, which will be sent to international teams who have been allocated a slot. Please enter the information for EACH member from your institution requiring a visa. Once we receive this information, we will send your institution’s contact person with an invitation letter for each member of the delegation requiring a visa.

Teams should fill in the ‘Oxford IV 2017 – IONA Registration’ form online (a link for which will be made available above). Teams will receive a response by the 8th of September as to whether their registration has been successful. Those teams we are unable to accept due to the tournament cap will be added to the waiting-list. The cost of the IONA package is £85 per team, and payment is due by 3pm BST on the 1st of October. We want to make sure that the Oxford IV represents a competition that is accessible to all IONA universities. Therefore, we are offering a limited number of team places at half price to IONA institutions who do not normally attend, or have not recently attended, the Oxford IV.
Simply indicate on the IONA registration form if you would like to be considered for one of these spots. These places will be assigned on the basis of competitive application, with spreading opportunities being the primary criterion.
